I hate it. I think it looks thrown together, and cobbled. I can respect the time and effort put into the car, and his desire to do something different.... But that car just looks like crap. Thank god we live in a country where people can have differing opnions.

Lose the rear seat delete and 4 6x9's. That looks to white trash for my taste...

Here is more pics and what not

Because: 1. I can now see that the Mach hood bulge is, in fact, just riveted on with no attempt to blend it in at all. 2. The ridiculous speakers in the rear seat delete. 3. The dash looks even worse in those pictures.

It looks to me like a hillbilly got a credit card with a $20,000 limit.

This thread epitomizes everything I hate about the Mustang community. I've belonged to other brand XYZ forums where members start paypal accounts and donate anything they can spare to help out a member who has a wreck or is down on his luck (laid off, injured, etc.). Members bend over backwards to compliment rustbuckets and encourage any project that saves a car from the crusher. The difference between those forums and the mustang forums is night and day. It just goes to show, no matter how hard you work on something, there'll always be 25 snobs in GT hatches, vindictive and condescending, with their noses pointed towards the sky, chomping at the bit to degrade you and what you love.

I'm not talking about everyone, because I have a lot of friends in this thread with nice things to say and good intentions, but there are always those same guys who come out of the woodwork with nothing but negativity. It's sad, really, and it's a major reason why this site has been going down, and continues to go down, the old ****ter.

Like I said eairler. Thank god we live in this country. I like his idea, but I would have taken a different path. If I hurt his/your feelings then that is your fault for having a weak constitution and being a panzy...

Says the universally hated pariah of Stangnet. There's a difference between voicing an opinion with tact and being a dick for the sole sake of being a dick. It's not you though, it's everyone else. Keep telling yourself that.

Name calling is always the first resort of the highly intelligent. Nice. My post wasn't really directed at you, although you never really have anything nice to say either. Your technical knowledge is impressive, though. I suppose that can be your saving grace. Whatever, I'm done with this site.

Don't let a few opinions steer you away Chris. You think this site is bad, go over to SVTP. If your car isn't smacked in the weeds resting on the bumpstops, if it doesn't have True Forged wheels with 335's, or a whipple, then it sucks LOL....

Wow this thread took a left turn, after seeing more pictures of that build I can appreciate all the hard work that person did. Not having a garage even makes things harder and stressfull when you are trying to make something look nice. We all have our likes and dislikes but we don't have to be nasty about something we don't like.

That car is nice. I don't care what anyone cares to criticize about it, it has a lot of time and energy spent in it. 90% of the Mustang community can't even come close to putting the amount of craftsmanship he did into the car, so i'm not about to nitpick little details I would have done differently. The entire concept is amazing

@ 1991notchbackLX
I never once directed anything to you. I don't sugat coat things that I say. If I like something, i say i like it. If I don't like something... well you get the idea. If I directly insulted you or you feel that I was directing my comment to you in some fashion, then I do apologize to you if I offended you. I meant no disrespect. But I say it as I feel it. And if I am hated for that then I am.

I just feel (just voicing my opinion here) that the end result could have been done differently. The red stripe in the seats goes with nothing. The charcoal SN95 dash in a fox with a black interior. The corosion on the AL. in the engine bay.... It'ts attention to detail that makes a car...

Don't get me wrong. I love the fact that he built something that he likes. I appericiate the effort involved to get the car to that point. The ammount of mechanical, electrical, and whatnots are what appeals to me. But the whole sometimes does not equal the sum of it's parts.

have seen this car before. Bad ass none the less! I'm another one who thinks it should have been a hatch car instead of a Notch car.
