coolant problem

i am new to site.i have a 90lx coup converted to 5.0 car has a 75mm throtal body and 75mm mass air sensor 1"5/8 headers equeal lenth and mac cats.my problem is i keep spitting coolant out at cap what is the proper level the overflow is always full :bang: :bang:

You're overheating! What's your temp gauge say? You want to be around 180-190 degrees. Is this a stock gauge? How old is the water pump? Radiator? Is your fan working? I'll need more info. to help.

Oh that can be very true..you really do start to fixate on the gauges when you in that area. I will admit I would be looking to shut her down at 220 with aluminum heads..just in case.

yeah, I had aluminum heads on mine when mine was running hot...I was affraid of a warpped head. Now I'm running TWO electric fans. One in front of my radiator and one on the back. Those ZIRGO fans on ebay are amazing!!
