I need to replace my coolant sensor and i live in Argentina:

I have a 97 Escort (european version) and it have one sensor with the same colour and same plug... it turns on and off the fan, but it isn't for the instrument panel (it has another sensor).
Mustang parts are difficult to find here, but i can buy the Escort sensor if it works for the Mustang.

If somebody can tell me the nbr, i can see if its the same (if nbrs are similar in America and Europe).

Excuse me for my english... feel free to ask me if you dont understand what i am saying.

Thanks in advance..

...I can take it. I think.

Thanks for your answer COramprat!!
We can't import used parts here... but thanks again.

The Escort sensor isn't for fan, it's an injection sensor (Zetec 1.8 engine). I 'll see if it works on my Mustang.

Best regards

I need your help please, I taked the parts out and they have two numbers:

1. First nbr is F5AF 12A648 AA (two sensors have the same nbr)

2. The second number is:
0F02B (Mustang)
7E12C (Escort)

Could be the second nbr a local code?

Thanks for your help.
