I have a 96 GT and my fan doesn't come on soon enough. It comes on when it is in the M. I have replaced the coolant temp sensor and it didn't help anything. But I was woundering about the sensor on the other side of the aluminum crossover. What sensor is it? It's some type of coolant sensor. But the coolant temp sensor is the on behind the thermostat. I have a PI intake that I haven't installed yet and it doesn't have this sensor. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks.

the one you replaced was for the gauge inside the car.. the other one is for the computer and fan, that sensor is like 60 bucks.

the PI motors use only one sensor, so you have to drill that little flat spot out behind the water neck.. you need the 2

Ok thanks. But when I put the PI heads and intake on I can just change the alum. crossover to the PI intake. Right?
