I have a 95gt conv that had a broken HVAC Vac line. Once I replaced it, the coolant temp goes from O to close to L and back down to M. Back and forth. I can run the heater and it still does the same. It even does it when it is around 40 deg out going down the Hwy at 60mph. Never had any problems until I replaced the HVAC Vac line. What might cause this??

Thank in advance for any help.

I dont care if your thermostat is stuck, your gauge will not jump back and forth light that. The stock temp gauges suck!! And are completely inaccurate, which i have proven for myself when i put an autometer one in. Mostlikely your temp sending unit is messed up or something with the wireing.
