Can anyone tell me where the coolant temp sensor is located. I think it is the thing in the hard line that goes to my heater core but can someone tell me for sure. Thanks

yep, Nick is right on.
just to clarify, as sometimes the terms are used interchangably (incorrectly), the location described is for the ECT. the gauge's sender is on the driver side of the lower intake.
