ugh...iv been fighting coolant demons ever since the install of my motor...couldn't get the pump to seal...finally it seems its sealing and not leaking...after driving the car and parking it in the garage there is no coolant on the floor..but i noticed after a few drives the overflow was empty...put some in..drove it a few times and then it was empty again?? car runs real strong...runs good no problems at all...plenty of power...but no trace of a leak?? i am at a loss as to where its going...maybe some one is sneaking in my garage and syphoning it?

Its the Antifreeze Nome........ Have you checked your oil?

Might be your radiator cap. Look on the radiator spout around the cap for coolant stains. Mine was leaking there, but was never wet when I'd checked it (leak must occur more while driving). If you haven't replaced your cap in a while, it's a good place to start.

Could also be leaking in a spot where it's leaking onto a part that's hot and it's evaporating or drying up before it has time to drip onto the floor. I have a leaking oil cooler hose(I think) that's going down onto the top of the water pump, and some of the coolant is drying up or evaporating before it drips onto the floor. Another possibility is that it's leaking onto the belt or other moving parts and it's being splattered around enough to where you don't see any of it. Just a couple of thoughts. I would clean off the suspect areas where you think a leak may be occuring. After you drive the car, take a look at those areas and see if there are any traces of coolant.

radiator is new..so is the cap...actually 90% of the crap in the engine compartment is new....

i did notice a small drip from the thermostate houseing but its just a drop...wouldnt think it would be enough to run the over flow dry...car dose leak a bit of oil from the rear main..but i checked it pretty close and seen no green....i did notice some liquid on the floor right under where the headers and h pipe connect??

makes me think alittle...as i did hydra-lock my factory motor after a bad intake install.....OOPS..haha

I had a 95 GT that did the same thing. Anti freeze would disappear from the overflow all the time..no leaks externally or internally, and no anit-freeze smell. IT did this after I replaced the lower intake gasket. It took weeks of me adding antifreeze to the bottle before it finally maintained a steady level. I guess it took that long to get completely through the system. After all that it stopped.

Sometimes the heater core will leak inside the evaporator case and flow out of the A/C drain hose on the firewall. Hope it's not that...
