on my 87GT the temp used to stay pretty much on the 2nd mark up from the bottom and now it goes up to near half and then falls between the 2nd mark up and half and creeps up and down between those 2 marks. Doesnt overheat persay but started running a little warmer than Im used to seeing

cause for concern or just keep an eye on it for now?

thanks

get an aftermarket temp gauge, the stock gauge has too many issues. 210 degrees is normal range for an EFI 5.0..

Before your second reply, I was going to ask if it took too long to warm up. Now, I would definitely say you have a thermostat that is failing / sticking partially open.

Replace the thermostat and be sure to bleed the cooling system completely.
