I had some Cooper tires back in the late 80's. They were o.k., but not the best tires that I've used. That was for a car though. I'm not sure about their new tires.

My brother had an '00 Explorer 4x4 that came with Firestone. When he took it in for the recall he had Michelin's installed. He's now driving an '03 and it came from the factory with Michelins. I drove it a few times, and I'd say they give it a nice ride quality.

Go with Michelins instead of the Coopers. You'll be much happier.

I would not run coppers again. I had them on my 90 IROC I just bough as a comuter. I did not like the enkie wheels that were on it so I bought some 18 inch wheels and bought these cheap nexen tires off ebay. they out perferom the coopers front to back and were probably cheaper.

short story long I think you can do better for you money.

I agree. I had Coopers and like them for about 5000 miles. Then they went to crap.

I will put nothing else on my Toyota truck. They ride good, they hold well, and they last forever.
