Corsa exhaust?

Anyone runnning these mufflers?, the performance shop guy swears by them but they are big money? Apparently they have no drone compared to the Borla exhaust. The sound clip he had sounded good. but $745 seems high for no-real performance upgrade.

any comments?

Yes. If you shop round, you can get them for far less - more like $550. Secondly, I had Corsas on mine to begin with but while they sound quite deep, the carbon soon builds up and they sound a little too quiet IMHO but they do offer no drone.

Downside is they add around 10lbs in weight and I had custom mufflers made up which are louder, far more basic and don't drone at all either.

I have retained the Corsa X-pipe though.

I 've been told that the roush mustang exhaust is by Corsa (made by corsa, but with ROUSH stamped in it). I have a roush and the exhaust is very good.

The on road Roush exhaust is made by Corsa, the off road mufflers are Borla Stingers.

Bassani Race Axle Backs w/ an X pipe FTW. Sounds so similar to an 03/04 cobra. Drones some and is loud as hell but it sounds so amazing that I don't even care

IMO the Corsa is the best sound out there. 2nd, I like Zoomers. I bought the Zoomers recently. They sound great with high flow cats.

I have corsa they sound great when you take off and at WOT. There is no drone at Cruising speed.

I paid $650 for mine that was with the cost of shipping them.

how about the Pypes Violaters? opposite end of the price spectrum but i hear decent things?

The Violators sound great but I couldn't stand the drone. I went back to the stock exhaust and can't be happier. If the Corsas were only $200-$300/set, I'd gone with them instead of the Violators. I just hate drone.

I didn't have drone w/ the Violators but I didn't liek the sound much with shorties and an off-road h pipe.

If you get corsas they sound good stock. but once you get exhaust I think they sound like ass.
