I installed my Corsa Sport axle-back about 500 miles ago. It seems to have gotten considerably louder in just that short period of time. Anyone with Corsa notice this or is it just all in my head?

That happens with pretty much all mufflers. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks for replies. I am not worried about it...just thought it happened a little quicker than usual.

That's usually caused by the fiberglass packing and the inner perforated steel mesh starting to get carbon build up in them which lessens the sound deadening effect. Be thankful!

corsa does not have fiberglass... it has like a million little deflectors inside that are wrapped around the thru pipe... for their "ZERO DRONE" i saw a cutaway one time... explains why they weigh 10-15 lbs more...

but i still love the sound
