So I’m thinking about getting a H/C/I swap with gt-40 p heads and gt-40 or cobra intake… My car is pretty much completely stock motor wise so how much am I looking in to spending for this swap? And what do I need tb maf injectors fuel pump rolling rockers ? Sorry for the newb question

Depends what route you go. You can find the stuff out of an explorer or mountaineer in the junkyard for a cheap price.

The other alternative is to buy new. If you buy new I think you can get a much better combo for only a few dollars more than the GT-40 set up.

i would go with the gt40p heads over old gt40. they also seem to be cheaper

if you do this (which i also suggest) then you need to make sure your aftermarket headers will fit the p's

I'm pretty sure you don't have to change your distributor but I'm not positive. Hopefully, someone with more knowledge will chime in.

As for pricing it really depends. These parts are hard to find but some have found a complete explorer motor for like $350. Just start calling your local junkyards and see how much they will charge.

H-Heads
C-Cam
I-Intake

So you were pretty much right. I have not yet heard of switching the cam with the GT-40 Swap so IDK about that. I'm pretty sure it's just the Heads and Intake people sway out. I think the model year is something like 97-2000 with the GT-40Ps.

you could probably squeak by (buying parts seperatly... heads/cam/intake/rockers/pushrods/headers) for under $1500
