could really use some help.

i have an 04 gt and i want to do some upgrades but i have to drive my car from state to state. i"m thinking of an intake,cams and heads.then some other bolt ons.can any one help cause i don't want to get out of the dailly driver. i know a charger is the way to go but i don't have that kinda $$$$$. i'm new to this so i"m asking the guys that know best thank to any one that can help buy the way it's not a five speed

None of the mods I have done have created any reliability issues. The two times I've had to call a tow truck were for an alternator, and a blown fuel pump fuse. So it was the oem stuff that got me. I drive my car from NC to FL a few times a year.

well the cams themselves are 500+ and anything that is stg 2 and up require a valve sprig upgrade, if you want to buy heads then thats around 1,200+/- depending on the stg you want.....Now the fun part finding someone to do teh install and a tune for all that which will require a purchase of a handheld tuner 350-400......

But most people here just get teh S/C becasue doing all this adds up to being close to what a S/C comes out too. If you dont have the $$$ for it start off with the bolt-on's (mid pipe) or a gear swap 4.10's
