couple of tranny questions.....T-5

you can buy them new at www.50resto.com, about 50 bucks though......but atleast this will show you what you need if you find a used one, this is the one i used...for my swap and the correct plate.

dowel pins- theres 5, 3 for the clutch pressure plate to fly wheel aligning dowels, and 2 big ones for the bell housing to block....( see below photo's) you can use the existing bell to block pins unless their damaged. the 3 pressure plate to fly wheel pins will or can come in a pressure plate bolt kit from 50 resto, e-bay, or auto parts stores should have them as well.

these are the dowel pins......you can buy them seperatly ( see right in photo) or in the pressure plate bolt kit, which is the best way to do it......since you'll need a pp bolt kit anyway.......the dowel pins align the pressure plate to the fly wheel as your bolting it up.

and while i'm at it, :D , the two big pins to the right are the bell housing to block dowel pins, likei said the original ones will work if they aren't damaged. also in the pic to the left are new flywheel to crankshaft bolts. some say you can re use the stock ones, some say their too short, i wasn't takin any chances so i bought new ones of those as well........cheap insurance....
