Well i just ordered shocks, struts, and some ford racing c springs. Now im not a total moron when it comes to working on cars but i have never touched suspension before. I guess how hard is it to do? Me and my friend will be doing it and he has every tool known to man and then a few more. So that should not be a problem. He has never done suspension before but is very good with instructions and basic work on cars as well, and i also have the clymer manuel. Should we be ok? Is there something really big im missing? It doesnt look to hard but i know someone that will do it for a couple hundred bucks and i dont want to regret doing it myself. Any input form you guys would be great. Thanks in advance.

I did mine by myself, not hard at all. A lift makes it a bunch easier, though :) I think it's pretty straight forward, I didn't even need a spring compressor... just a prybar and some buddies.

It's not difficult. I'd consider renewing control arm bushings, ball joints (if both are needed, consider new front LCA's) and the-like while in there.

There are a couple of methods to doing the spring R/R. One that more than a few people like is the F. Elliott [MFE] method. It's posted about on the Corral, and Luke 87GT over there has a version of said method on his site (linked-to in his sig).

Good luck.
