I am fixing to do some body work on my 88 notch. A while back my cowl hood flew up and crushed the entire cowl down, how hard is it to remove a cowl from a donor car?
I had the same thing happen to me on the highway at 5:00 am on my way to work. I forgot the hood pins and the hood came up, smashed the @#@%$ out of my brand new autometer fuel guage, cowl cover, hood and worst of all the cowl. I luckly slowed enough that the hood stopped 1" from my roof and didn't crash.
I looked at the same problem too and it simply isn't worth the work. I ended up taking a small hammer and banging it out from underneath what I could reach. Now I'm gonna fill the rest and sand it out. Hope it works!
