I finally tracked my AC leak down to a crack in a tube going to the condensor. I've no idea why this happen, because the car is completely stock, with all the required bracketing and supports.
Anyway, is there any way to effectively repair the crack or am I stuck replacing the condensor? JB weld? The the tubes aluminum too?

Cheapest price I've seen is rock auto at 103$ shipped. Anywhere I can get it for 99 local or a bit cheaper?

The recharge isn't the problem. I borrowed one of those vacuum pumps that draws a vacuum using compressed air (draws 27-28 inHg) and I've got a set of gauges. I'm just running out of time quickly.

The biggest problem so far has been finding the damn leak. I already spent 80$ replacing the suction line because I saw some oily stuff under one of the dust covers. Took forever to find this crack in the condensor tube, because it's hidden from view and doesn't collect oil when it leaks like a fitting would.
