Cracked Intake Manifold?!??!

Ok, I have a 98' GT Coupe with enuff mods to make it a pretty quick car and right at 73,000 miles the intake manifold cracked!!! It cracked right where the coolant crossover happens right behind the alternator. I replaced it with the Ford PI intake manifold. Cost me 900 bucks. I wanted to know if this problem happened to anyone else.

Yep this is a problem for most if not all 96-98's. They usually go around 80-100,000 miles. Ford had a silent recall but I believe it has expired.
