Well I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later, my plastic upper intake manifold cracked right below the thermostat. It started leaking coolant, it looked like it was just a gasket but the Ford dealership said that it is a weak design and that the intake was actually cracked. Ford wants $475.00 for the stock replacement, but I just read the article in MMFF and they tested the new Power Plus Typhoon Intake and seemed to give it a thumbs up. Is there anyone here running this intake? I can get it for about 530.00 online so I figured I mine as well upgrade? What do you guys think?

I'm actually running a D-1 procharger, but whether gaining 20hp is worth the 300 dollar difference is another question.

I am not 100 percent sure but you might get some gain out of it then, I don't think you will see 20 HP unless you ge that thing ported.
