is the crack on the blower housing or the tube leading into the housing.

How did that happen If it leaks air it will mess the a/f ratio and leak boost. Maybe you could buy just the housing.

Since it's "fresh", why don't you call up vortech and see what they'll do about it. Doesn't hurt to ask .
