Make sure you use a surge protector on that bad boy. My cousin had his TV connected straight to the outlet during a storm and a power surge fried his motherboard ($600 damage) OUCH!!!!
That is a GREAT Price on a good reliable TV. I have the previous generation Hitachi "Ultravision" 57" HDTV. I bought my TV in 2003 and I've never had any problems with it whatsoever!!!!
One question, since your TV is newer than mine, is it still 1080i or is yours capable of 1080p?
