Depends on what you want. The F is a good boy racer cam, the stage two is an aggressive boy racer cam that doesn't run much better than the F, but idles and drives much worse.

I'm running the 2030 and like it a lot. Nice calm idle that fools people and it has great drivability manners. A/C on and it idles without surging. It pulls hard from 1500 - 5500 just like the description and it passed MD's emmisions test (something a lot of E cam cars are having problems with). Compared to the F it'll feel soft up top, but you will pull on F cam cars down low and enjoy driving the car more. Ideally put on a 8psi blower and go viper hunting.

just a question but have you or anyone else done much with the extreme energy comp cams.the one ive heard some stuff about is the xe264hr. do you guys know anything about this cam. in the muscle mustang fast ford magazine tech guide they used this cam with a 306 engine, edelbrock air gap intake, speed demon 650 carb, and a set of afr165 heads and made 396 ponies out of it.
