Crane Gold rockers... Any better?

I'll try this over here...

How much better are the Crane "Gold Race" roller rockers than the "Normal" Cobra roller rockers. I can get a set of the Gold 1.72 pedestal mount for the same price as a set of the Crane/Ford Cobra 1.72 rockers.

What makes them so much better? Light weight? Less friction?

Should I do it?

I think it's just longer life more than anything else, + they are supposed to be good for revving over 6k

Thanks... I can get a new set for $198. I've seen them listed for $300+ at places like Jegs, but they were all stud mount. These are the only Pedestal mounts I've seen.

I'm almost positive the crane golds are exactly the same as the cobra ones, my old cobra ones would see over 6000 rpm without problems??? looking at them both side by side the only difference I can see is color. Not 100% sure though.
