Cranking problems

OK I have a 2002 GT and it turns over the pullies move but no firing sometimes it lightly backfires out of the exhaust...could this be the crankshaft position sensor i mean when i was driving it i gave it full throttle and it bogged out died and started this no firing crap can anyone help i need to know whether or not i need to junk the motor.

do you have a chip? what other mods? have a flashing "checking engine" lire?

NO no chip, no programmer, i have UDP, CAI, 75mm intake and plenum, magnaflow exhaust, MAC H-pipe, TB and Intake Spacer thats about it nothing big yet I dont know it turns over but doesnt make that trying to crank noise it just spins and lightly backfires out of the exhaust not out the back but in the middle by the H-pipe I don't know can anyone Help

Thats weird. Did this happen shortly after you installed the UD pullies or just out of no where?

no codes I disconnected the battery like a dumbass and it just happened out of nowhere I've had the UDP's for about 5 months

since you have UDP check the crank make sure the trigger wheel on the crank pulley turning with the engine as you crank it. I have seen a few cars with UDP have a no start issue because of issues with the crank trigger wheel.
