So I washed and waxed my car last Monday and then when to get a haircut and all that jazz to spruce up for the holidays. Well on the way home I stop by a friends house who has this huge dirt driveway, so not wanting to get my car dirty I park it on the street. I leave it there for about 4 hours and on the way back from eating dinner his mom calls and says, "is Justin's car in the road cause there is a cop here and he is about to have it towed". So I get back and the cop proceeds to rip into me like a box of doughnuts and has the wrecker service come to have my car towed and almost gives me a ticket. Well I had to pay the wrecker guy 150 so he wouldn't tow my car off and the cop after all that bull**** didn't write me a ticket. All because I didn't want to get my car dirty I had to pay damn 150$ to keep my car. Needless to say I was pissed off and am still pissed off.

:bs: That story makes no sense. No "Towing Zone" sign around your car or "No Parking Anytime" sign around? Just a public street and nothing else and a cop just stops and chews your ass and calls a tow truck for the fun of it?

Nah it was like a rural area and he said that old people kept calling saying they almost hit a car in the road. I wasn't blockin the driveway or anything. I mean everytime my friends come over they park in the road. Basically a bastard thing to do all he had to do was say hey move your car so people will quit calling and not hit it.

Without a no parking sign, really not much he could do other than ask you to move it.

If the tow truck wasn't hooked up, you don't have to pay him.

Of course if this is a rural town, things might be different
