my front door speakers seem like they are barely playing and the rears sound like crap. i have adjusted the EQ on the receiver but nothing seems to help. the 460 tweeters sound good but are much louder than the rear and lower door speakers.
the head unit is a Pioneer avh-p4000dvd. everything else is stock. i'm using the metra harness.

thanks in advance

it should sound fine as is,
something isn't correct, sounds like the amps aren't functioning properly.

I woud check your harnesses and the radio, If the radio is new it probably ins't that, and if the factory system was working properly before you know it isn't that, so by process of elimination it would have to be in the harness or wiring.

If you bought a metra harness (especially from a circuit city)... we were noticing some faulty ones and especially with pinoeer, the pins weren't connecting properly, I had to fix a couple pins to get mine to work properly. sometimes they were pushing out (but not far enough to fall out completely) but enough that a clean connection wasn't being made.

have you tried moving the amp jack plugs to different input jacks on the back of the head unit????
