Just picked up my car today from getting the Cobra R (brembo gran tourismo) 13 inch front brakes and the Cobra upgrade rear brakes. My car was washed when i took it in, by the time i picked it up and drove it back, the front wheels are black! (They are supposed to be white). Is this going to be like this all the time? Or is it because they are brand new and need to wear a little?

BTW, WOW, these brakes rock. The break pedal feel is amazingly responsive. Plus i now have NO more nose dive. Before the car used to nose dive so bad, i swear i could scrape my front bumper on a hard stop. I'm so glad that its now gone, it was pretty annoying.

Waxing your mags might help a bit and make them easier to clean. Did you install that brake kit with the stock mags??? Those are the ones I'd get if I could be sure they fit my stock mags which are like the 01 Cobra mags.

I have saleen wheels, i dont know if these brakes would fit on the stockers, they are huge and look like they barely fit on my saleens.

The stockers wont fit cause you need at least 50mm of outward spacing and the saleen's have that clearance so just try and keep them clean cause it will be a PITA to clean them every so often

I have stock brakes and had a real bad problem with the dust also. After i changed brand of pads it has reduced alot. Waxing the will might help to stop some of it sticking to the wheel so easily.

You said it was just wash. Did you get tire shine stuff on the wheel? That will make all kinds of dust stick to the wheel
