Crazy dingbat lady rammed my car!

Three weeks before Mustangs Across America cruise too! I hope I can get it fixed in time. She wasn't looking while backing up, and slammed into me. Then had the nerve to tell me it wasn't "her morning", when she screwed up my car, and barely has a dent in her bumper.

Ouch. Except for the tear, you can actually pop that back out, so it doesn't look so bad. You'll need to poke a hole through it and pull it back out with something (I used a slide hammer, just pulling on it instead of using the weight) , since there's no room to get any leverage on it from behind the cover. Mine looked pretty much exactly the same (no tear though) from backing into a dumb ass who parked his black car in a no parking zone on an unlit street. The paint didn't even chip, though it's slightly spider webbed in the area. I even did it to my right rear corner like that.

Eh, it's okay I guess in the long run. Her insurance is sending a check and I'm upgrading.

My body man is ordering an 03 Cobra rear bumper cover, and he's going to fill in and smooth the "COBRA" on it, with the bottom part painted black.

Sure was nice of that lady to buy me a smoothed 03 Cobra bumper huh?

Lol at the word dingbat

The same thing happened to me once. A dingbat backed up into me before I could leave a parking lot. I was even honking the horn when she backed into the passenger 1/4 panel.
