Hi All,
I recently removed the front seats and center console to give my interior a badly needed scrub down... After re-installing the seats and console the passenger seat seems to be sligthly mis-aligned. The Seat leans towards the door a bit and when the door is shut it makes contact with the door arm rest. The problem is it squeaks like crazy from rubbing the arm rest every time I hit a bump.

I took the Seat back out and tried adjusting the seat tracks to get it to align correctly, but the seat always slips back to that same position. Any ideas on how to get this seat to line up correcctly?

When you took the seats out, did you take the tracks off of the seats?

John, Thanks for your response.

The seat was bolted to two slides. The slides were bolted directly to the seat with 4 bolts. When I removed the seat the slides remained attached to the tracks

Not sure what to tell you. What happens if you bolt the back down first, then the front?

Does it make more contact when the seat is moved forward or backward?

Sounds like the track got out of wack... one track is one notch off from the other one. Just bolt in the front. The back should almost line up with the rear holes. If not, activate the adjustment lever and slide the tracks until they are even.
