crossmember mod for tremec

i put in a tko 500 awhile back and modded up the stock crossmember to fit it. moved the member all the way back to fit the tranny. now i just put in new crossmember bushing and poly trans mount and i have a rattle/noise coming from the crossmember. i get it while i am driving around 2300rpm or so sounds like a piece of metal vibrating on something. i took a malot and beat on things under the car and found that the crossmember is the problem. but i don't know what i need to do. i tack welded the member in place where i needed it but i am wandering if i need to take it back out and weld some more. thinking that may be where it is coming from. otherwise all bolts are tight so i don't know what else on the member could be making the noise.

Oh and no the member is not hitting the trans. plenty of room there i checked already. anyone have any other ideas or had the same thing happen?

Check and see if the front side of the mount is rubbing on the tailshaft housing of the tranny. I've seem them real close and i've seem them actually almost rub a hole through the tailshaft housing itself.

i made sure it wasn't rubbing the tail shaft. so thats not it.
