I am relocating my battery to the hatch on my 89 GT. I plan on running the power wire inside the car; everything was going fine until the firewall. I could not figure out a way to run the wire through the firewall, so I looked at existing hole already at the firewall. None were big enough to fit my 1/0 welding cable through them. I think I can fit the 1/0 welding cable through the hole were the cruise control exits. I have the main part of the cruise control removed from inside the fender, the main problems I am having is with the cruise control cable and with the wiring harness for the cruise control. How do I separate the cruise control cable from the throttle cable? Do I have to break off the plastic housing holding the cables together? Were do the wires from the cruise control go to? I lose them at the firewall and can't seem to fine were they hook up to. The only vacuum line I have to plug is the one from the cruise control to the vacuum tree, right? If anyone can offer some guidance, it would be much appreciated. If it were up to me I would hack everything off, but a friend of mine wants it so I can go crazy on it. Thanks
