Cruise control

My cruise contol has never worked since I bought the car (2 years). I have read the clock spring is part of the crusie to work. When I hit the on and set- nothing kicks on. Maybe the steering wheel switches that control the thing? The horn works and I know the clock spring controls this. I don't get any airbag errors. Has anybody had problems with there cruise contol switches?

He's a good site for you...mine hasn't worked in a few years. My lead foot happens to be my cruise control though.
