Crunched!

it was several months back that this happened, i beleive it was during an open track event at the SAAC convention. i've been giving a hard time about posting pics for a while. i was fully just kidding around with him, but he decided to post the pics, i guess to get me off his back about it :D

damn Jay i had no idea it was that bad, dude. i don't blame you for not wanting to post the pics for so long. i''l dig around and see if i can find any CARnage pics of any of my stuff, but i think it was mostly all on my old hard drive, if i can find them i'll post up some pics so Jay doesn't feel so bad.

Yowchers!

Actually, now with my seat time in the Cobra, and having had quite a ride in your car, I can see that it is actually easy to have a car "get away" from you.

Jay, how did this happen? Just curious, as a friend of mine tore the nose off his Cobra on his own street!

I pulled a corner with some over steer in second gear. The boost spooled up and the outside rear tire just grabbed. It spun it the other way so fast there was no way to counter steer it. I went from a casual oversteer to a complete rotation the other direction. To make it worse, I have the extra weight in the rear of the stereo system.

Snap-Spins

The exact same scenario when I spun at Watkins Glen, turn 9 coming out of the boot. Drifting through the corner, just a bit too much power on, then it hooked, and violently snapped the other way so quickly, all I could do was look to see what I was spinning towards. Fortunately, there was alot of run-off room, and I ended up just rolling backwards slowly, not hitting anything. Did get my butt reamed by the track marshall, much better than your final fate, though.

Cobras tend to do this, so I have to be careul!
