Curiousity question about my cobra

I was reading in the 94-95 talk section, that cobras have an integrated brake light in the wing, but mind doesn't, the light is in the truck lid. Which is right, and which is wrong?

94-95 cobras are supposed to have a led brake light integrated into the spoiler which is also a cobra-unique spoiler. On 96-98 cobras, Ford put the 3rd brake light in the trunk lid and got rid of the 94-95 cobra spoiler in favor of a gt-style spoiler. I have no idea how you ended up with the wrong trunk lid. If you have confirmed it is a true cobra with the VIN #, then someone must have changed the trunk lid to either a 94-98 GT trunk lid/spoiler, or one off of a 96-98 cobra. Have you ever run a carfax on your cobra? maybe it was hit in the rear, and someone half-assed the repair possibly.

it came to the dealership without a wing and with the brake light in the deck lid. The original owner wanted a rear spoiler, so they put a stock GT wing on it. If you look at other Cobras of that year, you will notice the wing is different. I did a Carfax report on the car and it checked out clean with no wrecks, so I tend to believe the guy. I also have the paperwork that says it's a real Cobra.

This is what was said by the PO that i am buying the car from. He story about the lack of spoiler is the story he was told when he bought it.
