Paint and Body Curling GT door moldings

Bought these gt door moldings from LMR and now that I’ve gotten them back from the painter they’ve curled up on each end. Will this go away if I leave them in the sun before installing or will it be an issue?

They do respond pretty well to heating in the sun. Def give it a shot.

dont the oem ones come with a metal strip on the back? maybe you can glue a new strip to the back side to help hold its shape

If it came to that, I would just replace them. Repops are available.

These are brand new repos , just from them sitting around a while they’ve already started to curl. But like you said hopefully some heat and bending will get them to sit right

I think you will be ok. If the metal strip was missing (mentioned above), that would make it not worth saving IMO. Good that you don't have that issue.

I remember having to install one of these back in the day...got it from the dealer (before internet). The sun or some heat will help flatten it.
