I had it done at my Ford dealer. It is a "kit" that is custom built to your specs and then the dealer installs them. You'll notice that Kyle F has almost the same deal, but of course in yellow (looks KILLER Kyle!). I paid $1200. I ordered mine with cloth and had the custom leather put in before I paid for the car, so there was no risk; I had NOT seen an example before I agreed to have it done, but I am happy with it. The factory leather option is $800, if I remember correctly. The other advantage is that it is 100% leather . . .front sides back, everthing. Factory leather is "seating surfaces" only. You can choose from at least 75 colors and textures. I believe that it is almost the same kit being sold by Late Model Restoration, www.50resto.com They will send you samples, too.

I got the same kind of kit from Katskin.com (I think thats it) when I bought the car I got a Deluxe GT with the Cloth and Black Dash. I had the Brushed aluminum overlays added and go all the way down the cupholder and radio. Plus the seat for $1200. Purchased from the dealer, doen thru a local shop. Didn't see it before I bought the car either... but I love two tone interior. And hey... if you got yellow... might as well have a lot of yellow

I prefer it much over the factory leather, its so much thicker and softer too boot.

My seats do NOT have side impact airbags. I specifically inquired about the compatibility and got an "I dunno" answer, so I didn't order them on my car.
By the way, Katskin is the company that did the 2005 GT on Overhaulin'

you gotta love that response. if you are selling something, it would be a good idea to have a little product knowledge.

I went to 3 Ford dealerships and actually got this response from one salesman "Man , you know more about this car than I do. I can't answer your questions"
My question was the 18" Bullit wheel option (64e or 64w I think). NONE of them knew 1/10 of what I knew. OK, granted, I am a Mustang nut. But HEY! You are selling cars for a living! Know your product!
