I know some of u guys have custom brake light logos or words in the center brake light under the spolier. I want to get a custom one myself.

1. Who sells them? How much are they?
2. Or how do u make one, if thats how its done?
3. Post some pics please :nice:

I've seen flame kits for these brake lights, but im thinking of making it say something. Maybe even as simple as Mustang GT i dunno yet. Just wondering...

I don't know if this is tech or talk

i ordered one a while back got it and tried to put it on. they are a pain well it was for me to do it with out the bubbles.and under the spoiler. I would just go to a local vinal signs guy and get it done. and have them put it on for another 2 or 3 bucks. If you are good with that stuff you can even order them off of e-bay. I wanted one to match the color of my car so i had to e-mail one of the sellers and ask him if he could do it he did it sent it to me and i screwed it all up putting it on lol :bang:

Yeah i am a vinyl sign guy, so i'll just do it myself :) And soapy solution mixture works best when putting the stickers/vinyl on. Because u can peel if off easily if you make a mistake, but it still doesn't affect the stickyness of the vinyl.

If you wanted it to be more of a finished look besides vinyl, you can get some letters from the local craft store, the sticker letters, in the correct size to fit the whole thing, apply them carefully and paint over it with your correct color and such for your car. I ahve seen that done many time (mostly with symbols not like a sign type of deal). I would recommend this method as the vinyl just seems cheap IMO. if you arn't confident with your painting skills, you can stick the letters on yourself and then take it to a body shop to have it sprayed. Just be VERY carefull when taking the letters off so it doesn't peel the paint with it. After you take the letters off, a coat of clear might be a good idea just to seal that edge you just created from taking the letters off.

Got mine at mwspeedshop last year! Cheap and they look cool. They were simple to put on. My 6 year old helped. I used some spray that I had for putting letters on the boat. Allows you to slide the stickers around if needed, but you NEED to wait for everything to dry.

My brake light says "STOP Childhood Cancer!" Hey, it's my thing, what can I say?

But, you can make it say anything you want. If you get sick of it, just peel it off.
