custom tune yes or no

i been having this problem where my car runs like ass when cold. i,m throwing tab code and all kind of emission codes and smells like its burning rich. now i could have a custom tune and the shop said the could turn all my emmission off with a tune and a custom chip for 550 and dyno pull. u think this will help. im sure as hell not putting my emission back together. i can still drive it but it takes 10 min to warm up then its fine. will a tune be worth the money.

Where are you located? 550 sounds like you are near me.

i had identical issues...chip and tune cost me 500 and it was cured...i know this sounds stupid but make sure you check the easy stuff like plugs and loose wires(that was one of my probs even though they were all new) but the tune took care of the idle issues..

Check BAP and coolent temp sensor also.

i live in oswego il, i change all kind of parts sensors, plugs, cap rotor, iac,ect, air charge temp sensor all kind of parts. will see if a tune helps
