Customizing old exhaust to fit new tri-ys

Well I told my dad about this kit not fitting up exactly right and he said look for another kit, but I dont think he understands that there will only be a little bit of fabbing that needs to be done.

So should i buy that kit and get an extra foot of tubing for each side? Or what should I do? Take the kit to a muffler shop and have them install it? Would that cost much? I need to order a kit today because my car needs to be ready by prom which is in less than 2 weeks.

I doubt you'll find a kit that's a truly bolt on fit. Do what you can at home if you like with the kit, then bring it to the local muffler shop for the final hook up.
