Cylinder Heads

Hi all, I am researching some cylinder heads. I was going to go with the AFR 185's, but I dont want to disassemble the engine to have the pistons cut. So now I am looking at the Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum Cylinder Heads PN: 60259. These come assembled and ready to bolt on. The specs are 170cc Intake, 60cc combustion, 2.02 Int/ 1.6 Exh, .575 Lift.
I am running the X303 cam which has a .544 lift.
Will this work good???
And does anyone know where to strike a deal on these heads besides ebay?

Thanks for any replies.

The 2.02 heads will not fit unless you have your pistons cut as well. I put the 1.9 1.6 heads on and had no problem with a .520 lift cam. Big difference in power over stock. I got mine from Jegs.

YEP,

or

the Canfield 170cc...... 17* valve angle, even more clearance than the afr 165. www.camshaftinnovations.com talk to jay, he can help ya out, as these heads will come with good springs, not require them to be changed as the afr's usually do, and they are less expensive..

good luck!
yep canfields rock, unfortunately they dont have the bandwagon, follow the leader marketing behind them.

I only say AFR 165's because I have never heard anything bad about them from people that really have them on there car. There are a few guys on here that are making great numbers with 165's. A few over 500hp if they are truthful:SNSign:
