cylinder heads

how good are the 351w HO heads? i,m currentlyworking on rounding up parts for a351 HO that a freind gave me .Several people have told me that they are as good as the AFR165,s i have on my 302 if they recieve a slight touch up in the port and polish department thanks for the help........are there any tuners in the st.louis area who could tune my computer? all help with this area will be appreciated

What year are they? At best I would say they are as good as the gt40 heads. I would not say or think they would be as good as AFR165's.

Hit up our local mustang site at stlmustangs.com for tuning info. The owner is good with tuning and is a dealer for SCT and Tweecer and can setup you up if you want to tune it yourself or have it tuned. I am not going to get into shop names and such as you can always find someone who has had a bad exp./bad review of a shop...in the end its the shop you feel most comfortable and confident with.

I know that there is a certain 351 head that is hard to get and kicks some wicked ass. I personally know someone with a high to mid 6 second 1/4 mile 302 who uses a certain 351 head, not sure what though have to find out. I personally have see the ports on that head, They are definatelly something massive, lol.
