Well this past Saturday I started having problems with my 01 Cobra. I think it might be due to some 89 octane gas that was put in by accident. It's jerking around and being very sluggish during acceleration, and when it's idling the engine makes a ticking sound on the passenger side. My dad took it to Auto Zone and they pulled the codes and two came back: P0 307 and P0 308. They told him that cylinders 7 and 8 are misfiring. So my question is, what the heck do I do now? It's not under warranty anymore so taking it to the dealer is way out of question. I'd appreciate any help you can give me.

Yup, 7 and 8 are always the problem cylinders. They get hot. With the 87 octane (what happened there?) you probably fouled up the spark plugs. I would replace all 8 plugs just to be safe.

That will probably fix your issues. Oh, if you haven't already done so...DITCH THAT 87 OCTANE. Put in the right octane and you should be ok.
