Has anyone bought an engine from them? I know they've been around for a while, they seem to have some great prices on long blocks which I'm sure they use a production roller block.......

Any advice/experience on/with them would be great....thanx

I used to live just down the street from their shop in Valencia and now he downsized to his house in Sylmar and runs everything out of there. Dave is a nice guy and some of his parts are great for the price. I've even talked to him about building a motor for me. But I'm uneasy about it. I've been to his house where he builds them right in his garage. I can't say anything bad about him or his engines, but I would trust DSS or CHP much more when it comes to a engine.

What happened that they downsized so grossly?

Hmmm everyone seems to always say stay away from DSS or CHP because they use stock blocks.....I guess I should really stay away from D&D
