D & D rear coilover kit

i have d & d front coil over kit, but im looking to buy there rear kit as well, but i have KYB shocks and they told me KYB wont fit, how come? what do i need to do to make them fit or what shocks do i need to buy to make it work?

i am sure they would need some work to fit the coil overs and kyb's suck anyway so replacing them is a good thing, and call maximum motorsports they are the leader in stang suspension
