about 2 days ago the rear differential started whining and howling as well as vibrating pretty badly...took it to the dealership, said my pinion was bent, they wanna put 3:55's in it now because they're "factory". the 4:10's were on the car when i got it. since they aren't OEM 4:10's, and it looks like the dumbass who installed them did a piss poor job, do you guys think my extended warranty will cover the work?

extended warranties are the biggest ripoff. they're worthless and only suckers buy one. sorry. not trying to be mean, but you seriously threw money down the drain by buying the extended warranty.

did you buy it certified used? That should make a difference..

And on the other hand, the dealer shouldn't sell you an extended warranty without inspecting the car and making sure that no component would void that warranty...good luck!

It always depends on the car though.... the extended warranty sucks for cars that get modified, but for my Jeep it was worth it because I will be leaving it stock, so my coverage will not be voided for those reasons.
