Daily Driver AC Kit & Water Pump

I notice that the water pump outlet (ref to the link) is on the LHS of the car and was wondering if it can be interchange ie instead of LHS have it on the RHS? I was able to find out that the engine in this particular car (1966 Mustang Coupe) is a rebuilt 302 but as for what year the previous owner could not tell me. I've heard that the 289 & 302 are similar not sure if the water pump can be swap out.

Can water pump be swap out with the outlet on the RHS?
If NO...what are my other options?
If YES....what year and part # would work?
