Hey all,

Just purchased a stock True Blue 2001 Cobra with 37.500 on it . Have owned 4 fox bodies and knew how to set them .
Need some input as to what would be a good daily driver set up. Right now just looking at strut/shock and springs combo. Would like to sit a little lower, but not slammed . You know, fill the wheel well gap some and have a decent ride. Also what will be needed to control bumpsteer if an issue?

Eibach Pros will keep a good ride and lower it about an inch, Bilstiens are one of the best IMO, Tokicos are a good second. All bumpsteer kits seem equal, so UPR gets the nod at 110 bucks Also your gonna want a CC kit cause there will be too much negative camber. Being a Cobra their is alot of stuff ya want to do to the IRS, diff brace, bushings and such.

I say

I'd go Bilstein shocks and struts for sure.

Springs, you have plenty of options...I'd go Steeda as a first choice and Eibach as a second choice.

I just went with Bilstein HD's and H&R Race springs. Rides great, no problems.

I put on the Bilstein BTS kit. Like it. Good ride/handling compromise. Lowered it about an inch which is all you want for handling. The reason I went with the kit was to make sure the valving in the shocks/struts was compatible with the spring rates.

All of the above suggestions are probably good. Just check whatever combination you choose to make sure the shock/strut/spring combination is calibrated to work in harmony.
