daily shift points

i hate bogging a car and having to try and pay attention to what rpms i shift at. my car is retired from DD service and i dont care about its mileage all that much.... so when i drive i just drive normal and just shift when i feel its the right time. dont really go by rpms, you can just "feel" when its the right time. you guys know what i mean.

I redline first and go straight to fourth or fifth as third is kinda broken.

It was undrivable, brand new T5 super duty exploded in 3rd after less than 100miles, sounded like a box of rocks. Many people say the super duty trans can handle 280rwhp, i call b.s. Oh, and no warranty because gear breakage is abuse. Maybe honda will make a tuner mustang transmission that can handle 300 measly rwhp cause ford can't. I bet the new Smart car could break ford's T5. I recommend you never shift from 4th to 3rd and gas it, especially if you have some crazy wild mods like flowmasters or K&N. I don't know what I was thinking trying to drive a mustang like a sports car. Sorry, I'm a little bitter.

Haha, I guess so. BTW, the T-5 was a Borg Warner design, and similar transmissions were used by other manufacturers including GM. So ya can't really blame Ford :D
