i just go this motor in march brand new 4.6l v8 i put the vortech back on it dynoed at 371rwhp was driving home from work last week noticed a tapping noise coming from the motor

its a got dam rod bearing i am so pissed rigth now

that motor has less then 10k miles on it

so now i have no idea what i am going to do at this point (3500 bucks down the drain on that motor +1k to have it installed)

i dont know if i want to sell my vortech and nx kit to put money on a forged shortblock

or sell the power adders pay the car off ( i owe 3k) then just sell the car and get a vette or cobra if i can fine one

i am just made at this point and i was not even driving the car hard treated it like a baby

what? you paid $3500 for a new stock motor??? why didn't you buy a forged shortblock for that kind of money? or atleast buy a bigger oil pan.

Wow...for 3500 you can get a good built shortblock and have it dressed with all your top end stuff! Good luck, don't waste your money on any more stock motors!
