well, i just got done installing the autometer gauge cluster in my 03 gt, the speedo doesnt work and the temp doesnt work. when i got the cluster, the tach and the speedo needles were at 150 and 5000rpm respectively. once i set it up and reconnected battery, i started car and tach reset to 0 then began working but the speedo did not reset to 0mph. i drove car around and it wont budge off 150. i dont get it, i checked all connections and it seems all is ok. it lites up and it looks damn good. the water temp sensor wont work either..any help is appreciated. please help!!

I have the same cluster in my 02'. Mine did the same but when I connected the battery and turn the ignition on they both reset to 0. I don't know what could cause your problem.

Did you try the thing where you program the dashboard?

The UPS brown truck stopped by today with my AutoMeter Guage Cluster...the Lunar one. The boost and fuel gagues are also on the way!! They look awsome! Hope not to come across the problem you are describing. Let us know how it goes.

henceforward, thanks!!!! your info helped out a great deal. i tried the info you gave me and it worked!! well, at least for the speedo, it now works fine, but the temp gauge reset and got stuck on a little hump in the shape of the gauge, now i gotta figure how to remedy that, but thanks again, the stangnet board helps once again!!

My temp gauge had that problem too..But I can live with it..

Anyone else think the gauge cluster is overpriced for what it really is?..I know it looks cool and the fit is good..But since you have to reuse the factory gauge system its almost the same as just having 60 white face gauges..

I wont be buying this unless they make a new one to match the C2 autometer gauges I just changed out from the lunar gauges in my pod ....I changed them because the mech boost gauge was just too much of a pain to run a vacuum line all the way inside the car .....IMO and the air/fuel gauge quit working 2nd time I started the car up after installing them ....C2 gauges offer an electrical boost gauge and the air fuel and fuel pressure all 3 work fine now , and the blue is 100 times better looking than that green on the lunar gauges ......

how do you like the c2's?? i saw them in person at the sema show and they looked like they were purple to me, so im set on getting the cobalt gauges.
the Lunar gauges and the dash cluster are way over priced.

It is surely on the high-priced side of all the possible options of Mustang gauge cluster mods. However, IMHO, that is was gives it that bit of exclusivity. While I know there are many people with one, I have yet to actually see one in person (other than my own) at a show. That uniqueness does add value, and helps to ensure that my Mustang has no perfectly identical twins running around.

Plus, I really like having the "Autometer" name on my gauges. It impresses my racing friends.
